Biografija

Orthodox Celts je srpski bend iz Beograda koji izvodi tradicionalnu irsku muziku kombinovanu sa rok elementima. Osnovan 1992. godine, bend je pionir ovog muzičkog pravca u istočnoj Evropi. Predvođeni harizmatičnim frontmenom Aleksandrom Petrovićem (Aca Celtic), postali su prepoznatljivi po energičnim nastupima i tradicionalnim koncertima povodom Dana svetog Patrika u Beogradu. Svoj debitantski album, pod nazivom „Orthodox Celts”, objavili su 1994. godine. Tokom višedecenijske karijere, bend je stekao veliku popularnost na prostorima bivše Jugoslavije i šire, uspešno spajajući tradicionalne irske instrumente poput frule, violine i bendža sa standardnim rok zvukom. Njihov rad karakteriše autentičan pristup irskom folkloru i autorske pesme na engleskom jeziku.
